๐ Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Laminate the Paper Layers
Slightly dilute PVA wood glue with 10% water in a bowl so it spreads smoothly without clumping. Lay down a base sheet of wax paper, then coat each sheet of printer paper evenly with a thin layer of glue using a paintbrush, stacking 50 to 70 sheets squarely on top of one another. Ensure there are no large dry spots or excessive glue pools between individual layers.

Press and Cure the Composite Blank

Leave the stack clamped undisturbed for at least 24 hours until fully hard and bone-dry.

Profile the Blade Silhouette
Remove the cured blank from the press and draw your desired knife profile directly onto the surface using a pencil and ruler. Sand the outer perimeter on flat 120-grit sandpaper until you reach the exact profile lines.

Keep the stone wet with a splash of water, avoiding excessive pressure that could crush the tip.
