Measure and Cut Ribbon Pieces
Using a ruler, measure and cut three pieces of ribbon: one 10-inch piece for the main loops, one 7-inch piece for the tails, and one 2-inch piece for the center wrap. Make straight, clean cuts across the ribbon using sharp fabric scissors.

Heat-Seal All Cut Edges
Hold each cut ribbon edge taut and pass the blue base of a lighter flame swiftly along the raw edge. You only need a fraction of a second to slightly melt synthetic fibers and stop fraying.

Form Loop Ring and Find Center
